Award for Riverton High

Debate Coach Cody Henrichsen

Debate Coach Cody Henrichsen

The National Forensic League, a debate and leadership organization, recognized Riverton High with the Leading Chapter Award.  A plaque will be presented to debate coach Cody Henrichsen at a debate tournament in March.

In the past nine years Riverton’s debate team has been in existence, hundreds of students have been taught the skills of communication, analysis, leadership, organization and fair play.  The Leading Chapter Award serves as an indication of Riverton’s dedication to students and to forensic education.

This award is based on student participation and is the highest honor the League can bestow on a chapter.  Only one school in each region can earn this honor a year, and it must wait five years before being eligible for the award again.
