JCU Project 100 Award

The Jordan Credit Union Project 100 Teacher of the Week Award was recently presented to Michelle Chavez from Foothills Elementary.  “Michelle has high expectations for her students and expects them to learn to the best of their ability,” said Principal Barbara Yost.  “Students like being in her class and parents often express their appreciation for her efforts on their child’s behalf.”

Project 100 is a program initiated by the Jordan Credit Union which recognizes outstanding teachers.  Principals submit names of teachers and the JCU selects a name from those submitted each week.  The selected teacher receives a check from JCU for $100.
