On Wednesday, March 17, a firmware upgrade will be done on the District’s firewall. In an effort to accommodate schools holding parent-teacher conferences, the upgrade will begin at 8 p.m. and will take approximately one to two hours. This upgrade will be done to increase security, performance, provide greater protection from intrusions and implement various other features. During the upgrade process there will be no access to the Internet, e-mail, the District Web servers and several other servers within the District.
