On March 2, students at Jordan Hills Elementary participated in a book swap as part of the Read Across America Day celebrations. The exchange, called “Recycle Your Reading,” invited students to bring gently used books to school. For each book donated, a coupon good for one book was issued. All donations were organized by reading level and displayed on tables. Students browsed the books and traded their coupons for their choices. More than 1,100 books were swapped. ★
