Recent legislation requires school districts in Utah to conduct background checks on all non-licensed district employees every five years of employment. In order to comply with these new legislative requirements, the Jordan School District Board of Education has approved District policy DP374 Employment Background Checks.
The Human Resources Department has established a schedule to fully implement DP374. Employees will be notified by their principal/director if they are required to complete a background check and the date the background check must be completed.
